It's easy to help Earth Day Indiana. And its free.

Recycle inkjet cartridges

You can recycle your used inkjet printer cartridges at home, school, and work, and help Earth Day Indiana.

Each time you have an inkjet cartridge to recycle, just drop it in a mailing envelope that we provide and put the whole thing in your mailbox. Your cartridge goes to a recycling center, and Earth Day Indiana gets up to $1 for each qualifying cartridge. You can place more than one cartridge in each mailer to save some plastic.

Request your free mailing envelopes by sending an e-mail to earthdayindiana@hotmail.com.

The mailers are free, self-addressed, and the postage is paid already.

The mailers also are available at the Earth Day Indiana Festival information tent. Please pick up a year's supply at each festival and we'll save the cost of postage.

Don't forget to get plenty extra to share with friends and family.

Shop 'til you drop.

Each time you use a credit or debit card at participating stores, Earth Day Indiana will get a donation. At no cost to you.

Here's how it works.

Go to the secure website at www.eScrip.com and register the credit and debit cards you use.

Then select Earth Day Indiana (ID number 154534155) to benefit from your purchases.

eScrip takes care of the rest.

Each time you use those cards at participating stores (Eddie Bauer, Macy's, Office Max, Pep Boys and Orvis and others), a percentage of that sale goes to Earth Day Indiana.

Donate the old clunker that's rusting away in your backyard.

You can earn contributions for Earth Day Indiana and get a tax write-off by donating your used vehicle.

It is free and easy. You just need to follow the Web link below, and have legal title and current registration. Your vehicle will be towed at no charge, and you will be eligible for an itemized tax deduction for your donation.
